Amelia Atwater-Rhodes had her first novel accepted for publication when she was 14. I first read her story, "In the Forests of the Night" several years ago and have since read all her 'stand alone' novels. Just this past summer I read the first book in her Kiesha'ra series and I loved it so I can now fully recommend her. Honestly everything she write feels very simple and just flows easily until you're completely surprised you're done.
